I think creatards are the lowest form of life.

But you know them, they think they're the whole ass, when in fact they're not even the shadow of half the hole Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Hey smugly, you do understand that if I were to split the lobes of your brain, I could induce two mutually contradictory brain states within you, right? Your consciousness can be altered merely by doing some injury to the brain, the physical component of consciousness. There's plenty of research to back this up.

Probably a silly question, but did you do any research before you felt yourself knowledgeable enough to call us ignorant?

Thousand of people who had a NDE experience tell us that as soon as the physical-mental death come then the consciousness take automatically over and it is not affected by body or brain damage.
Not even one of those who had this kind of experience deny this fact.
Even those who previously were non believer after that experience believe.
Abe Alexander a neurosurgeon was previously skeptical about this.
After his NDE experience he change his mind as you can see in his book "Proof of heaven".
Now you are telling me that all this was researched and contradict my view.
Now can you tell me if your research can also contradict a neurosurgeon which spent his life studying this field?
After this we can talk about who is the ignorant.Smile

Oh by the way can you tell me who is the idiot who told you about the..........
the brain, the physical component of consciousness.?

Yeah, NDEs are powerful experiences that happen BEFORE the brain fully shuts off. And oh gee, a neuroscientist who thinks there's an afterlife - totally convinced. He was in a coma. Not dead.

EDIT: He's also been debunked, there's an esquire article that delves into this but you have to pay for it, so here's the atlantic wire's brief summary http://www.theatlanticwire.com/entertain...ked/66772/

Way to research.

Obviously you haven't read his book in which it is explained in detail how the system works or do not work.
Read it and then come back here.
I will be waiting for you.Smile

What's to read? He was in a medically-induced coma, and then coming out of it he was conscious but delirious. Just the right conditions to induce hallucinations of Heaven or whatever your mind comes up with.

Also, he claims that when he was in his coma that his brain wasn't working, yet if he were brain dead he wouldn't have been able to come out of his coma. You'd think a neurosurgeon would know this.

Not bacteria. 30 years ago nobody was talking about antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and infections like MRSA didn't exist.

This MRSA that we know now could have been in a latent or dormant stage for long long time and came up and out as the circumstances allow to emerge as a right medium was found for his expression.
In our body we have a myriad of good and bad bacteria.
The bad one usually come out when our body is weak or under stress.
We do not even know what we got but you can make sure that when our body is under stress they come out and try to make us sick or even kill us.
What human did in the past induce or cause certain diseases what human do today induce and cause other diseases unknown in the past.
This does not mean that the very bacteria that make us sick today were not present in the past.
It is all related to what humans do these days that trigger a particular disease to EXPRESS itself like for example loosing the immunity to antibiotics as humans abuse them and also by eating animals that have been treated with heavy doses of antibiotics especially chickens and all other animals kept in cages.

Funny but in the link that Psykhronic give us you can read the comments that people make about the article and most of the people regard those who debunked Akexander as a bunch of dickheads who criticize without having evidence.
One more thing is that physical science can not in any way exit his borders and penetrate in the realm of intuitional science where it is possible to understand how the consciousness works.
In other words if you want to know how the system works you got to enter the system itself. All the rest are pure speculations and mental masturbation.Smile

You do not appear to have a clear understanding of biology.

Bacteria and viruses mutate and some mutations confer resistance to drugs. Those survive.
MRSA didn't "lie dormant" - it evolved.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
