Don't spoil it now Big Grin You were doing so well! Wink

If I have to find Jesus, does that mean he's hiding?

You even state elsewhere that it can't have evidence for it!

My position is this.

People are prone to believe all sorts of stupid things. (scientologists I'm looking at you).
The only way to cut out prejudices, wishful thinking and cultural bias is with verifiable evidence.
Without it you just have an unsupported idea that can be dismissed as at best unproven but probably just wrong.

Faith is the ultimate form of dishonesty. It is illogical to believe something you don't have any evidence for.

Fr0d0, you need to think just a teeny-tiny little bit more on this subject. You must be able to almost feel the epiphany brewing.

Illogical in what way? In the sense of contradictory or irrational?

The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes this morning was my boyfriend. Does that mean that he is Jesus? Cool! The "turning water into wine" trick will be particularly useful.
Any spelling mistakes are due to my godlessness!

Please expand. Do you think Christians believe that there is verifiable evidence? Can you find me any that manage to show it to you?

No Nora, this is our position: there can't be any. You demanding it off them hugely supports Christianity. The truth is like you affirm for us. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks! Smile

Hi Chicklet! Wink

Now you're being like people who think they should be able to see verifiable evidence of the invisible!

Hehe - pretty illogical. But you started it with the "open your eyes" comment - come on Frodo, we expect better from you Smile

Edit: I really do dislike being captain obvious, but sometimes it is needed.

fr0d0,

Contradictory=impossible. So you believe in a God that isn't there and cannot exist since it cannot even be defined in a possible way.

You are basically admitting that you are wrong and cannot be right.
