If she's been treated for MS the docs must have told her that it is not hereditary but it is possible she does not accept that and fears passing the disease along to children?
Or, as has been suggested above, she may be suffering from a lack of self-esteem and doesn't think she is worthy. Try to be less "worthy." It may put her at ease. It does sound as if there is something else going on here. 
She might just be really inecure?
Ask if She has depression.
