The acid in the orange juice breaks the psilocybin down into psilocin and also steeps out the active component in about an hour. What this means is that about 5 minutes after drinking the juice you are high as shit! So, no waiting and wondering. No upset stomach, and the taste is just orange juice with some bits of mushie blended in it. The down side is that you should wait an hour, but no more than that, or the active ingredient starts to break down in the acid. Tea works almost as well, but it takes time to brew, and totally taste like cubensis mushrooms; not a great flavor.

Doesn't the vitamin C in the orange juice help strengthen the trip?

I've heard anecdotes about Vit. C enhancing trips, but according to my experiences, no, no difference.
My real name is Milton. Years ago a co-worker called me "Miltonus" during a humorous discussion we were having. Not long after, when I was creating a character in Everquest, I shortened it to "Tonus" and have used the nickname for gaming characters and forums ever since. Prior to that I used "Uncamilty" because if your name is Milton and you were born in the 60s, a hell of a lot of people will call you Uncle Milty. I like Tonus better these days.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
Badger is the nickname Kichi gave me not long after we got together and I added the Zen bit to make it sound deep and meaningful when I wanted to create a username for another forum.

Actually the Zen bit is that mainly he is very calm and collected and "zen" in how he approaches every situation.... Just DON'T piss him off! I have acquired the nic "Mad Cat" (thanks Zen) So whilst researching romanji for a name for our house I came across Kichigai Neko = Crazy/ mad Cat and decided to adopt it. Mind you I have been labeled "crazy, pazzo, dÚsachtach, gal, hullu" All my life. "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
