I have group therapy tomorrow and I get my social security check on the third. Yaaay!
Holidays are supposed to be a time of activity, but because I've had less than $10 in the bank the last two weeks, and all the events skipped because of Christmas and New Year's, I've felt almost like a shut in, with no grocery shopping or other shopping, and missing a lot of my regular weekly activities.
Friday is the meeting of my poetry group. It couldn't come at a better time.

Thinking I really lucked out with the new doggy. He is calm, attentive, lays his head on my feet when he nods off the way Fletcher used to do and stands up to Heidi enough to make it work. My poor brother just got a pup who is rather manic though also sweet. He would have been so good for them but, hey, this one's mine.

I've never seen anything like these octopi of yours. Are there wires inside that hold their shape when you move the arms around?
