Thanks, I'm becoming obsessed with them! I really need to branch out to the other patterns in the book but this one is just so adorable...

Yes, the tentacles have pipe cleaners in them so they are posable; that's how I can curl them and get them to stay. In the last photo I posted where this guy was still in progress you can see all the tentacles splayed out straight and if you would have lifted his head up you'd see a big wade of pipe cleaners twisted right in the middle.
Maybe I'll do some progress photos of the next one I do. My green yarn is attached to a sweater I'm working on so I'm doing my next octo in blues/purples, same size as the one above (knitted on 000-sized needles (1.25mm diameter) - fuckin' tiny!!) and I'm working on the first tentacle now.

Watching Kalifornia and thinking of MissLuckie, because Luckie Street Grill is in some shots, but I can't figure out where the place actually is.

At work. Later tonight I'll get together with my girls, we'll eat, play games and drink some sparkling wine.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I'm going to do a little vacuuming, then prepare a roast beef dinner.
Roast beef, medium rare,
roasted potatoes,
roasted onions,
gravy,
peas.
Maybe Yorkshire pudding.

Sitting in the lobby of my therapy clinic, putzing on the forum, trying to get over the effects of a 'rage storm' that happened two hours ago. Maybe if I get out and walk to the bus it will help my emotions return to normal. I hate this.
