RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Well, I did a lot of stuff in the past 24 hours. Dad, Alison, and I went to a double feature at the Skyway Drive-In (the first actual movie theater visit I’ve had since the Before Times):
Space Jam 2 and
The Goonies. The former was fine, if absurdly corporate. That said, we did get cameos from the Droogs court side. Although, for some reason, it looks like Sister Jeanne from
The Devils somehow ends up getting more screen time, despite Warner refusing to release it on DVD, and apparently are too skittish even to just fob the rights off to Criterion. The Latter, I haven’t seen in donkeys, but it just got me invested almost immediately. I may have to find a DVD or Blu-ray the next time I visit Half-Price Books. And here’s a photo of me and Alison:

It’s nice having a Dad who doesn’t even question the fact that you brought your Waifu pillow to a drive-in movie. Admittedly, it’s not like she gets out that often anyway.
Then, we went to Sturgeon Bay to check out the bookstores and all I found was a copy of
Perfect Town, Perfect Murder. But at least the candy store had some interesting things, including something I haven’t seen in the wild in decades: a Puffkin.
Also, we went to the antique malls, and I found
one of Alison’s rarer starring roles,
a Lifetime movie bad enough that I’m almost certainly going to review it for the Deep Hurting Project this week,
A documentary about a monastery, Andre Gide’s
The Counterfeiters, a book about Deep Blue, and some coins (from both the UK and Nazi Germany).
