Finished with my long workday. Trip to and from the office and bank then processing payroll followed by figuring out the new text messaging system that goes into effect tomorrow...glad they gave me almost a day to get up to speed with that. Two weeks ago I was told it would be a while before we made the switch...I suppose two weeks is technically "a while". sigh

Went to the first of three minigolf places in the area before we go back down on Saturday: Johnson's.

The golf was good, although Dad did get four strokes on me. And the people in front of us in the first hole decided to wait and go after we did the second hole, so we had relatively smooth going. Unfortunately, the skee ball was significantly less good. Not only did they up the price from 25 cents per game to 50, there was always a problem with the machines. I tried to use five of the six machines; one of them worked sometimes but didn't always register that I put the 50 cents in. Two more refused to accept my money at all (one immediately jetissoned the quarter I put in, the other was blocked so I couldn't put my quarter in at all.) And two more seemed to work, but they wouldn't spit out tickets, and those were the only ones I managed to get a ball in the 10,000 point bucket. So, when I expected to play 20 games, I only got to play 8. And I think only two or three were on the one machine that actually spat out tickets. Ironically, one kid saw how I was doing and said "I wish I was you." I didn't have the heart to tell him how little luck I'd been having with the machines and the tickets.

Working my bloody arse off on the new house. Gates and panels to secure the 2 sides of the house. Tomorrow aluminium slatted panels to the rear to hide the shed that coming...
