In Praise of China

The Chinese, really have done so much for us, in terms of fuelling our consumerism. Which is why it is so confusing for me to see people bad-mouth Chinese factories, Asians, and such, when they provide us with so many cost effective products to buy.
What would our lives be like, if China did not exist? 99% of the products in our house would not exist. - Keep in mind, even if you have a product that says 'made in USA/Europe/etc' I guarantee it will have components made in China, and merely be assembled in the stated country.
Without China, we would be at a significantly lower state of living. If Chinese products were prohibited, most of us would not even be able to make ends meet financially. But why is seemingly no one grateful to China for giving us such wonderful products?
This bigotry towards Chinese and capitalism is so odiously hypocritical, considering the person venting about China obviously has most of his products made in china in some sort.
It's equivalent to racist rant and rave about Indians, yet having curry and rice as his favourite meal he frequently buys. It's so ridiculous.
What the Chinese have done, is amazing. Their hard work and determination have made us all better off, and for that I am deeply thankful to them. We can only learn from their unity and collaboration.

The only freedom, is freedom from illusion.
