An "atheist church" is to start holding regular services in Scotland from next month in a bid to spread the word about the "free-thinking faith".

Must be part of Alain de Botton's Atheism 2.0 denomination

So if there is one group out there that organizes a Church of Ronald McDonald, would you then consider McDonald's to be a religion, or would you listen to reason and admit it's still nothing more than a restaurant chain?

Just another christian desperate to drag us all down to his level, unfortunately. Nothing to apologize for, in slapping down that shitty idea.

Ken Ham had the same things to say about this issue, only he took it a step further and said that having an atheist church service was tantamount to an admission that we all really do believe in a god. It's particularly infuriating, the way these religious fools try to get their grubby mitts on human concepts like group solidarity and pretend as if they own them.

Incidentally Lion, if someone were to have a christian barbecue and invite all their christian friends, would that make christianity a restaurant, in your mind?
