Tell me, if you can be truthful, that you would want her to give up her belief.

The truth has never been a concern to christians.

Would I like my wife to think for herself more on this subject - yes.

RE: Radical Christianity 101
See, Christians like GC come here with their attitude that since we're atheists they can treat us like shit and it doesn't matter, and then they wonder why we don't want to be like them. I'm quite certain that GC isn't here to "save souls" or convert any atheists, he's just here to piss off as many "enemies of God" as he can to make himself feel better. Because with the attitude he constantly displays, it's all about trying to get under the skin of atheists. And he's sneaky about it, too. He pushes up to the line without crossing it, and tries to piss off others enough so that they'll blow up and get hacked off at him, then he sits there smugly saying, "What? I didn't do anything wrong!" I don't know if he just does this to fulfill the Christian idea of all atheists being angry, or what, but it's fairly clear that he gets his jollies by trying to piss us off.

It's sad, really.

@GC

What's truly funny is that you don't make me mad...

You just help me sharpen my name-calling skills.

Trust me, if shitheads like you could make me mad
I'd get help, but as it stands, you merely annoy me;
Kinda like the fly I just killed - uh oh, a veiled threat!?

You have to much pride in yourself, you do a fine job of making yourself look ridiculous, and you have so much hate for Christians all we have to do is post God Loves you and you go nuts.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

He wants her to stop believing in Christ because he doesn't, he's made that plan, but of coarse you can't see that because as far as you're concerned there's only write on the atheist side. One thing I can say is not all atheist believe the way you do and I'm grateful.

No, he never said he wants her to stop believing. That's just your feeble mind failing to interpret reality correctly.

And I don't give a damn about defending someone because they are an atheist. What I do give a damn about is defending someone because an arrogant Christian cocknozzle is being a condescending asshole due to the fact that he's too fucking stupid to understand the words that people write.

What you should be grateful for is that stupidity doesn't affect people physically, because you would have a fatal case.

I don't hate Christians, FWIW. One of my mates is a baptist and is getting married on Friday two weeks away. I'm an usher. People's beliefs don't bother me.

Sanctimonious, morally subversive and socially nefarious people who proclaim the truth without anything to back it up, however, are people that I have a dislike for. It doesn't matter if they're religious (Christianity is just as much nonsense as Islam, and all the other funny fairy tales).

See what I mean? You're trying to provoke me. But it's not working because I know you're full of shit. You better look in the mirror to see who really has hate.

Hatred for Christians? How can that be when 99% of my family & friends are Christians?

You're a very sad, bitter person, and I almost feel sorry for you.

No.

Not right. Christians and muslims are supposed to convert others, because they want to save their eternal souls.

Or those 'others' are 'doomed to hell', was my point. 'God' hates.
