Christians defending slavery.
I posted this at CF to get a good disccussion going, and I got more then I bargained for.

And only 4 responses before someone trotted out the tired old "If an atheist does good it's because of God" argument.

I'm always amused at the embarrassing predicament that Christians find themselves in at having to defend slavery because it's in the bible. I suspect we'll have some here doing the exact same thing. Look for "Oh, it wasn't real slavery like we have today, it was more like paying off a debt."

Thomas Jefferson would bitch slap these people about the morality of atheists.
