RE: We Had To Let Lady Go Today
Ah, sorry to hear that, Min. Much condolences, mate. Undecided

I'm sorry to hear about Lady. It sounds like you gave her a wonderful home, and I feel for you. Every pet I ever had was family, and losing them was never easy.

The downside to the sheer awesomeness of dogs is how much it hurts to lose them. Sorry to hear it, Min.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

My condolences, Min. I lost my beloved German shepherd last spring to the same thing. I still look for him every time I pull down into my home place. Hugs to you.

The dogs that I had to kill, I did it myself and were my best friends. Though it drenched me with tears, the best way to go around it, is to get another dog. One that I eventually will have to kill. Such is the human condition, to know death Sad

That's why I don't get dogs.... (and the fact that I live in an apartment)
I got kids, instead... they're supposed to outlast me.

Condolences. I find death rarely makes me sad any more. It's something else. Poignancy perhaps. It somehow makes the mundane feel more real for a while. Anyhow, wishing you a speedy recovery and the stamina to provide a good home to another deserving doggy.

Sorry for your great loss Min, nothing worse or as painful as loosing a friend. Hardships make us stronger and I'm sure you will come through with a greater strength. Keep your chin up there are better days to come.

Sorry for your loss, Min. Having lost three dogs and two cats in the last five years I know all to well how it feels.

I know how you feel, Min. We had to put down our Golden two years ago. We still miss having him lie between us on the couch.
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
