Four Scenarios

My guess is that it highlights a pair of facts that Christians have a lot of trouble wrapping their little minds around, the first being that Christians believe that a magical skydaddy judges their misdeeds according to an objective standard of right and wrong, the second being that atheists don't believe any of this.

They like to think we're the bad guys whenever they think about us. Turnabout's fair play.

The results of this model exercise suggest that there is little difference between the two groups, and that "god" has NOTHING to do with morals.

As I said, you're not even close. http://atheistforums.org/thread-21617-po...#pid531684

Re-read this bit from my last post.

"These results reflect each subset’s respective moral norm, with subset “A” showing a 66/34% “positive response/negative response”, and subset “B” displaying nearly the same numbers with 61/39%. Bear in mind that the tenor of the responses does not determine positive v. negative results, as the qualifier serves that function. The long and short of this model exercise is that subsets “A” and “B” have nearly identical “moral” values. In other words - religion does not determine morals, but morals MAY determine religious choice."

I added that last bit in bold to help you out. As for the category your former response made it into... "non-ratable", so YOU contributed nothing but hot air. Also, I love your lack of psychological education. If I were to examine anyone here, you'd be the most transparent and the easiest to lead.

You're either a terrible liar or you're failing psych...

My students score the highest on independent testing from among the entire psychology department, so we'll either assume I'm lying about that (apparently badly), or maybe they're all failing. My first year students parlay better than you do - at least they understand that insults reveal more about the one doing the insulting than the one being insulted. Honestly catfish, if you're going to expose yourself so fully, shouldn't you do it in the "Area 69" forum? It's been a kick. Have a great night.

Nice try at deflection there about your lying. I said nothing about you lying about your students, but specifically about your scenarios and your claim that I wasn't close.
Honestly fff, you admitted that you catergorised Atheists and Christains into two groups. Then you admit to determining the "morals" of each group.
What's worse is that you're a professed atheist and in your scenarios, the Chritians are depicted in a poor light. That shows more about you than the scenarios do about those who responded. You're a bigot, plain and simple.

I made a bet with myself that You'd be butthurt and call me names. As I said, you're transparent and easily lead. But I still like you Smile

Calling you an asswipe would be calling you names. A bigot is what your actions reveal yourself to be.

Perhaps in your "Unique and personal" world I am just that, but in reality, I'm something entirely otherwise. Though I do appreciate your personal attacks, as they provide ongoing insight into your wounded psyche. Thanks for participating. Let's do it again some time.

@kittyfish, you may officially have the last word as long as it's cogent. If all you intend to do at this point is mock and jest, then I have already had the last word long ago.
