Well, the way I've gone through life with a smile on my face is to, well, not take anything seriously. Granted, that's gotten me in trouble in school, but it helps when I can turn the voice in my mind into a funny one and make the pain go away. To be honest, while it's not ok to make light of a dark situation, it helps emotionally. I suggest telling your neice to find the light at the edge of the tunnel, in a way. I'm sure she'll be able to find it.

Yes, there are lonely souls on there that try WAY too hard to be hip (or whatever). But I never even noticed any Great Purge of accounts. I guess I have knack for laying low.

Have fun here. Hope you find it useful.

Ah yes, there's been much dArama about. Especially in 2012, for some strange reason. U.U Big Grin But yeah, dA started chopping down the art-theft catchers [which is why you find a bunch of dead anti-theft groups] like myself. But it was also a glorious time - the Mary situation went down. Big Grin

Does your brother not do anything about the situation? Is there nothing else you can do?

I don't know, I have cousins in bad situations and I am unclear about how bad it actually was, but back then I was only a kid, and now I've lost touch with them because, well, the short version is because my extended family are not good people (that's putting it lightly).

I've called CPA, but she and her siblings seem to shut up when their family is threatened...I think they fear repercussions from their mother more than the repercussions of going to better homes. They've been brainwashed to think that family sticks together no matter what, and it breaks my heart to think that this very ideal is what's keeping her (and even her siblings) miserable.

Oh, and my brother is a dolt.
