I'm not much into extreme sports myself, but I do enjoy the occasional "jump off high shit while attached to a rope or other life-saving cable" type event. A couple years ago my sister and I did the Shotover Canyon Swing outside Queenstown, NZ. It was super fun. Kind of sad I didn't do a third jump now.

I'm a climber, pretty active in the non-professional scene in my city in England (university societies, local climbing groups etc).
Haven't met anybody who is religious. But then again, nobody in the UK really cares about religion. I go climbing to climb.
