Well, consider the source. Middle eastern countries to this day discriminate against women and even in the times of the alleged Christ women were considered second class citizens not even worth mentioning. Usually in the scriptures when they say there were 500 present who saw Jesus rise and disappear into the clouds or any other mass gathering is mentioned they exclude the women and children.

I know EXACTLY what happened to Noah's arc.

After about a month, one of Noah's sons went down to clean out the bilges. It was a bit dark,so he lit a lamp and discovered methane.

In Noah's time there was one person who had a male and female unicorn the last known unicorns left, but he did not want to give his unicorns to noah.

I would say if this so called flood happened it would have to be a tsunami *100 or *1000 to wipe out the whole earth.

The problem with this text is that 15 cubits equals approximately 22 1/2 feet or 7 meters. Hardly enough water to cover the entire earth. Some say that this text refers to the water rising 15 cubits above the hills but this is a mistranslation.
