But thanks to a bad calcium deficiency I have to take some precautions. I have had a few spontaneous breaks in bones in my feet over the last few years so it's best not to wear heels except for very short periods of time. I still hang on to a couple really cute pairs, not because I think I will one day be able to wear them again but because it hurts my heart to part with them.

I love ankle straps so a lot of my shoes have them. I search for cute sandals with ankle straps and grab them whenever I find them. I like funky shoes that other people don't have...some would say I have strange taste in shoes. In my younger hippie days I almost exclusively wore moccasins. Now when the weather is too cold for strappy sandals, I am in my Harley boots. My shoe collection is eclectic and totally me.

BTW...love the shoes in the avatar ElleBelle!
There are a few tricks you can try. Have you seen a podiatrist for advice?

Haha...actually the one I was just seeing for the transverse break that just happened said heels keep him in business. Thank you for the advice!

I resisted the urge today to buy shoes while I was out. It took a lot of willpower, but I'm setting myself a limit to 2 pairs a month.

What happened to posting pictures of our shoes? Here's the pair that I use the most. My "IRL" friends around here will probably see this and be like, "Oh, gawd, not those again." Yeah, I use these a lot. There's evidence, because I think I see some stains. Sad

Oh fancy. Due to my financial situation (being a uni student and all), my shoes are all basic black heels, boots, and my wedge sandals died. So I don't have much to share. XD.

I have a love of Candie's heels and my mobility instructor will have to pry them from cold dead fingers!

Such an odd trend. I don't understand how it's comfortable to walk around with stuff between your toes.
