What is Your Political Philosophy
|
I'm sort of apolitical at the moment. I grew up conservative, then went to libertarianism and then went to anarcho-capitalism but now nothing politically makes sense to me anymore. Emotionally, I feel like a libertarian but I'm not logically convinced in libertarianism.

I'm syncretic, so I voted anarchism (because I'm a big fan of Emma Goldman-style anarchism), communism (because I support the abolition of private property), right populism (because I want to stop Muslim immigration), libertarianism (because I support free-markets), republicanism (because I support the republican form of democratic government), Zionism & secularism.

Are you schizophrenic? How do you live with so many contradictory political philosophies?

Communism is more than just the abolition the private ownership of capital goods. Goods are distributed via planning. The system that you seem to be advocating looks more like market socialism, in which private ownership of capital goods is abolished, but goods are allocated on a free-market. Workers form democratic co-ops as opposed to communes. When I was a socialist, I saw communism as a form of usury, which was my problem with capitalism. Since then, I have rejected the labour theory of value and have turned over to the dark side. Honestly, you have more in common than with Benjamin Tucker and Pierre Proudhon than you do with Marx.
