Quirky habits

RE: Quirky habits
Here's a few of mine:

I sort out M&Ms by colour and eat each colour all at once.

I crack my neck like Blade all the time.

I choose which book I'll read next by putting them in a queue, sort them by the cover price divided by the number of pages, and I pick the one closest to the mean.

I start more sentences with the word "Well" than the average rockabilly singer. It's a habit I really try to break in my writing.

When I get a new DVD or Blu-Ray, I like to watch it with all the special features.

Until I got my iPhone, I took a Discman everywhere. I still do tend to use it for audiobooks around the house.

I try to get hardcover copies of books whenever possible. Thank Jah for Half-Price Books; there, I can get hardcover copies of Jonathan Franzen's last two novels for a fifth of what they would cost new in paperback.

I don't make eye contact.

I carry an iPhone, but primarily use it as an MP3 player with a built-in porn browser. I still use a flip phone as an actual phone.

I always bite my bottom lip.

I have to have the exact same morning routine every morning, or else I'll get cranky.

I get really shy and awkward to the point of making people uncomfortable around me when I first meet them.

I eat all the food on my plate one food at a time, starting with vegetable, moving to main course/meat, then finishing with side dish.

My hiccups are extremely loud.

It bothers me to fill my gas tank completely.

It really bothers me when my food touches on my plate, most especially when there is some kind of liquidy thing on the plate (like applesauce). If they're dry things it doesn't bother me as much.

Exactly. I really don't like when something like cream corn seeps into my mashed potatoes. Or if there's some kind of glaze on the meat, I don't want it going anywhere. I could eat off one of those toddler separator plates.

ROFLOL

My family jokes that I should only ever eat off school lunch trays with the dividers because I complain about my food touching so much.

I also prefer sitting with my back against a wall.

Me fuckin too! Both! I close the doors in the house all day, and now my toddler is doing it all the time as well. I can't just sit there and see the door open. Also I prefer to sit against a wall. It makes me feel safe.

I can't sleep in a neatly made bed. The covers *have* to be messed up.

When I focus, I bite my right hand thumb or index finger.

I can't sleep in a messy bed. I need clean sheets perfectly tucked in.
