Not too tricky: originally, urban UK jungle & garage influences mixed with dub reggae at a dub reggae tempo. Now with many global sub-cultural references. The young Commercial side of the music has gone fully over to the 'syncopated noise' concept whilst the older audience has largely embraced 'chillstep'. The core underground audience is still based on variations of the original concepts

Oh boy I had to dust off my dubstep playlist, its been a while. I'm probably a bit dated here, haven't been in the dub scene for a bit.













This really takes me back too. I used to have 12" Kickers in the back of my Ford Taurus (yeah I was real cool /sarcasm) and me and my friends would blast them on our way into Boston in search of more dubstep.
