@OP Your plan sucks. We should just get the fck out there. Let them figure their problems out on their own.

To attempt to institute such an oppressive regime unilaterally would further damage our reputation in the international community, weakening the credibility of our foreign policy efforts in the region, and encouraging pro-Islamic and anti-Western sentiment in the populace both within and outside its borders. It would be a foreign policy disaster. ![]() Quote:No, the communist regime was doing good for Afghanistan That statement is, quite frankly, horseshit. The PDPA clearly meant well, but they went about their attempts at reform with all the grace and delicacy of a rabid water buffalo on PCP. All they succeeded in accomplishing was 1) pissing of Islamic conservatives, 2) tanking the agricultural industry, and 3) creating shortages of food and government confidence. This precipitated the Soviet invasion, which created a massive humanitarian crisis and (big shock) led to the modern Taliban. Boru

We have a moral obligation to fix Afghanistan's problems because we caused them. That's because all that is there are muslims. Different types and tribes and the only time they stop killing each other is when foreigners give them another target...as the British, the Russians and us have demonstrated. Where is this "un-islamic" population going to come from? You left that out of your plan! (Details....details.....) Who do you think is going to re-educate them? Foreigners?
Haven't you been paying attention to what is going on over there. RE: My Programme for Afghanistan

I say that a part of Afghanistan(the parts where the Turkmen, Usbeks and Kyrgyz live) should be part of Turan.
