The forum won't even load for me to log in, though. And the other forum I used tapatalk for doesn't support it anymore.
I just don't get why it lets me into the other options but not this one. It's not a huge deal, now I just don't get why it won't work for me.

Perhaps the application has a bug in it where it is assign in someway an identifier that this forum will compete with.
I'm unfamiliar with the application but it maybe possible to delete the conflicting references to the old forum.
I suggest that you purge the app and it's user data.
If you do not wish to do that you may always use the mobile theme on the forum from the website

I had the app uninstalled for quite a while already. I just re installed it yesterday to use it here.
Oh well though. The problem must be more on my end of its working for everyone else. No big deal.

Are you on iOS or android?
If I recall on android, when you deinstall it may leave your user configured data behind.
You also may have such configuration information stored on a remote server, which may re-create this issue no matter what phone you move to.
Perhaps you should get in contact with the developers of the application.

I'm on Android. I'll try to find the user data on my phone.

I'll see if I can look into it tonight. Might be a setting I need to update on the tapatalk account.

I looked into it, and there was an error on my Tapatalk dashboard when I logged in to check. Apparently Tapatalk does some connection checks every now and then to see if the server is up, and it failed because the command they are using doesn't support TLS (or at least, it forces SSLv3). The problem is, I disabled SSLv3 on the server because it's considered insecure.
I've started a thread in their support forum; hopefully they will be able to fix the issue.
