And people think that is weird.

Yeah, people tend to get it backwards. Driving a sword through someone? PG13. Topless woman? Rated R. Then of course there's the double standard between hetero kissing and homo kissing.

That was kind of an epiphany for me when I was in the US a while back - I was watching the remake of the movie "Jackal" with Bruce Willis in the theatre.

1. Bruce Willis converts Jack Black into goulash with gigantic calibre fully automatic artillery: everyone cheers

2. Bruce Willis kisses the attorney guy: the entire movie theatre gasps with revulsion.

Yeah, whatever, humanity. Thinking

I absolutely HATE sexual shame.

The double standards in the country (especially by men) is fucking outrageous. How DARE someone call me a whore for having sex and enjoying it.

Who the hell is anyone to judge the sexual behavior of another?

Also, concerning your own second point: why is "whore" an insult?

What No God said. I wasn't supposed to date anyone who wasn't a pastor back in the day. Well, I dated anyway. I wasn't supposed to have sex, so I didn't plan for it. I got preggers and had to say I was sorry to a church of 500 members on a stage with a mike. The pastor later told me that men didn't have to do this, because their sin wouldn't be as evident as mine due to being preggers. Piece of shit. I saw him three days ago. I imagined beating him up. Just imagined, but I walked away. Hehe. If only he knew it wasn't my first time and that my last before my boyfriend was a giiiiiiiirl. Fuck you very very very much.

Also, people in that church aren't allowed to masturbate. Of course, this probably increases masturbation rates and that's probably the intention of the pervy pastor. It's been 8 years and I still remember how nervous I was on that stage (altar)
Pointing around: "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you, I'm out!"

Hmmm, it isn't the definition of the word that bothers me. Prostitutes don't bother me. Sex workers do not bother me. I support sex work.

It's the way the word is used. The simple fact someone is trying to hurt me emotionally because of the decisions I make in my sex-life. THEY put the negative connotation on the word "whore".

Couldn't agree more.

Absolutely agree, and I didn't mean to criticize you. The person who calls someone a whore and intends it as an insult gives it the meaning of an insult, yes!

I'm probably different from most people, but I sure don't feel comfortable with my genitals and I sure as hell don't want to show them to everyone.

The word gay is a strange thing, because it is used by teens as a generic negative attribute completely disconnected from the sexual meaning, but drawing upon the prejudice against homosexual to give it negative meaning. "That movie was totally gay" doesn't even mean that it involves homosexuality. It is just implicit that gay is a placeholder for stupid and bad because we're supposed to hate homosexuality. Add to that the origin of the word gay in the sexual context and it becomes confusing Big Grin
