Wieners carry happy juice. God loves misery and hates happiness. Ergo, naked wieners are bad.

What a filthy fucking lying piece of trash. Sounds like all the pastors I was raised under. What was his name? You should get his picture and post it in here so all the world can know what a lying turd he is. I've wanted to beat down several pastors I've known. Now I want to beat down yours too.

The reason I got thinking about this was a documentary on TV about a naked rambler here in the UK. He was walking in front a school and (not for the first time) was reported by a mother and arrested and put in prison. According to the mother being naked in front of a child is harmful ,even when it is clearly not in any way sexual. I thought this was total rubbish, how can a child possibly be damaged by seeing just a naked man walking past. How is this different to a biology class? Or am I wrong, is it harmful? I'm sure I saw my parents naked when I was little and my parents thought nothing of it, but they would have had a completely different reaction if it had been another adult.

I think the reasoning is that nakedness is automatically associated with sex. However I don't think a child would be thinking about this, just the parent. Young children often show each other their bits in the playground (so I've been told), completely unaware of any connotations other that "you are different to me, that's interesting".

Anyway, I was thinking: Is this a religious idea, or something that pre-dated religion/ is part of human nature? Obviously you've got the Adam and Eve story, so whoever wrote that must have already had the idea of sexual shame.

CONTEXT, it isn't that nudity itself is bad, but sorry, even atheist adults would flip out if on a public bus and a fat naked guy sat down besides them. It is the unexpected, and lack of common law consent. Now if she is saying nudity damages a child by itself, no, that part is rubbish.

You'd expect to see nudity in a sex ed class, or at a nude beach or at nudist club. And parents up to a certain age with kids will be naked in a bath bedroom in the house with them in a completely innocent manor. Or may change in together in a same sex bathroom at a public swimming pool.

I don't find a problem with the naked body, but like everything in life context matters.

Yeah I would find it uncomfortable. However opens up the whole issue of why do I not have the right to go about my daily activities naked and should things be banned based upon making other people uncomfortable?

If we start banning things in public based on what makes some people feel uncomfortable, we would have to, for example, start banning gay people kissing/holding hands as well.

RE: Sexual Shame
It might have some sort of context from an evolutionary standpoint.

This is pure conjecture, but there might be a competitive bias to not wanting your genitals exposed, combined with the idea that lots of diseases can be transmitted/caught through an exposed anus/genitals. This begs the question, but doesn't it sort of level the playing field for males with smaller penises to want things covered up? (The question begged being does bigger penis = better?) I don't know that there is any correlation between this and other selective traits (intelligence, male parental investment, race), but it there's got to be something there considering clothing of some sort predates Christianity by some 120,000 years.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Yeah, I'm not really crazy about locker rooms, either. Hell, when I was going to the gym, I usually went out of my way to change into and out of work ou clothes at home so I could avoid having to change in there. On the rare occasions I did have to change in the locker room, I just found a corner off to myself, changed he pans as quickly and discretely as I could and then got the fuck out of there.

But, I think my issues with my genitals are probably going to be very different from other peoples. I mean, if I actually had the genitals I want, I'd probably be the first girl to line up to go to the nude beach and I'd be the one contesting any laws the city has about women being topless.

Weird. As I see his photo, a part of me, one that hasn't finished healing, still feels guilty about bashing him. I respected him so much back then.

I tended to keep my clean clothes at hand after showering, so I was dressed by the time I stepped out, though I've gotten a little more comfortable eventually. I always put my underwear on first, though.

As far as dick size goes, I'm pretty sure most women wouldn't want a huge dick in them. There's only so much space in a vagina, after all. They're not one size fits all elastic fun holes.

Though I suppose it really depends, and that's part of the reason some people I have known say that's one of the things they want to know before committing to a life long marriage.

Clothing does keep us warm and protected. No doubt about that.

You know, those things are designed for a baby to come out of. I think if a human baby can fit though a vagina without too much difficulty, the great majority of penises will fit, too. I don't know if 'too large' is a legitimate concern.
