I'd probably end up being a professional student; anything from learning crafting techniques to woodworking to learning more about science and art and human development and how to write, fix bikes and cars... I want to learn it all.

I had to as-built a pathology lab a few months ago (as-builting = measuring the room and equipment) and it was the most distracting thing having a technician standing there dictating the surface features of a cancerous kidney and making slides for the pathologist to examine... All I wanted to do was watch her and ask her questions...

I'd make a career of one of my hobbies, making medieval warbows.
Being a very successful musician.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

I'm pretty content with life now.
But if I could go back I'd do something that let me work with or around animals in some way.

I enjoy my current job (IT/network admin) because I love computers and computing. But the stress is leading me towards leaving that if I can make a living off of creating comic books, which is probably the one activity that I would enjoy more than managing computers and servers.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.
