I sent it to my mum, I thought she'd like it.
Here's the thing. The kid liked it, he was stompin to the stage, enjoying the clap beat of the audience as he sang.. He was doing what he enjoyed doing. I wouldn't take that away from him for the world. There's worse things (or no things) his parents could be doing in raising him up to be a good hearted person who finds value in society and being a part of society. Singing is an excellent outlet for an autistic person. The fact that he's even up there, on stage, and able to handle the stimuli around him is an incredible testament to the amazing things his parents have accomplished in his care and rehabilitation. I commend them---excluding the part where they're all "his father was a meth addict". I mean, what kid wants to hear that over and over again for each performance?
Other than that, well, sometimes even the darkest of places can be lit up by something like god, and it's not a bad thing. It's not like he's concerned about the morality of the OT god or the existential significance of hell. He can believe what he wants, and when he grows up he'll have the ability to make those decisions for himself. I highly doubt anyone's forcing him up there, and if that's where he wants to be, who are we to say he's wrong?

When you realize they're full of shit, they get so much easier to laugh at. Then again, it was never that difficult to laugh at them in the first place. Observe:

That is quite literally one of the most painfully embarrassing things I've ever had the misfortune of watching
PS it's a staged fake thing. The camera guy
knows when the demon is gonna 'appear' and makes the video angle all ominous. What's sad is that they probably even rehearsed that bullshit.
Sad, oh so sad.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's
sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god
does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
