Introducing The Universal Religion
#11
RE: Introducing The Universal Religion
Hey Guys!

You are all highly appreciated. You are a good match for me!

Mind you, I have been caught between two worlds - the 'godful' and the godless.
But fortunately, I have succeeded in marrying the two together.

Our God is everything, i.e. all things put together, including you and me, both physical and non-physical, temporal and non-temporal, etc.

Our world is a natural world, even God is a natural God. You may call him/her/it Universe, Universal Intelligence, Nature, Energy, Mind, Force, Power...but whichever nomenclature you prefer, make sure it is all-inclusive.

The so-called supernaturals: Satan, demons, angels, ghosts, miracles, gods, witches, spirits, sprites, goblins, magic, spiritualism, spiritism, heaven and hell. are all natural illusions and delusions, naturally produced in the uncultivated senses and mind of the natural man.

Hoping to have a good time with you towards a collective all-round emancipation of the earthly man.

To what purpose does this vague, useless definition of a god come to? Dodgy

We'll see when you actually start engaging us in a non-general way.

Then my question still stands: why call it a god (let alone "God")? We already have perfectly good words for each of those things - you yourself used them - so what's to be gained by conflating them together under one umbrella term already overloaded with erroneous baggage which is totally contrary to your stated aims?

Speak for yourself. Personally I hold out the hope that humanity outgrows the childish need for an imaginary crutch of its own accord. What you describe is at least as draconian as any theocracy.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I recommend researching Baruch Spinoza's idea of god and get back to us regarding the originality of your idea of god. Spinoza died 337 years ago this month.

You have one of those jackets that buckles up the back, don't you?

You know, it really is amazing what a Google search can provide you with. Type in The Universal Religion + Jideoni and you find a slew of other forums that got a very similar message within the past couple of days. But I wish that was all that popped up. I am curious my friend, how do the themes from your other books not contradict each other?

I doubt you will find many here that will subscribe to this line of thinking.
