The redneck strike again.

He did get one thing right. Everything he said was indeed a very silly point.

Very very silly point.
A drunkard or a junkie will feel that his consciousness tell him
that wine or drugs are good for him.
At the same time my consciousness tell me that these items
are like dung so who is right and who is wrong?
All depend what path you have chosen.
Everything in this universe is moving.
One force try to tell you to go up toward human emancipation.
An other force tell you the opposite.
The force that tell you to go down is still part of you so how
it is possible that your consciousness tell you the wrong thing?
This is all about what you have chosen.
The positive (yang) and the negative (yin) are there all the
time.
It is up to you to choose the one who suit you most.
Nothing new under the stars boy. :)

False.

I can be interested in the Harry Potter books, but it does not mean Harry Potter is more than a fictional character.

In saying false you contradict yourself.
I was saying that a drunkard get the consciousness that
the drink is good when in fact is wrong.
At the same time you say the same thing when
you are attracted to a particular story even if that story
turn up to be not real.
We can not compare the damage that wine does with
no damage that a story that is not true does but the principle
is the same.
As the drunkard is attracted to something wrong you are
also attracted to something that is not true so here we are
dealing with what our consciousness tell us.
The point i was making is that the consciousness may or may
not tell us what is right or wrong.
It is all up to the path that we have chosen.

Stimbo.
You seem to be one of the few intelligent person on the
forum so you got to help me.
You remember yesterday on the other thread when i asked you
how would you get God to be manifested if you are not prepared
to show any interest in him?
Unfortunately you did not answer.
I know very well that you got the right answer (as usual) so
i do not understand why you are not telling me.
Please Stimbo get me off this mental torture
i can't take it anymore. Arrgghh

If it's not that version of Hindu philosophy, could you please link to a relevant article describing which philosophy you do follow. It would help me to understand what you're talking about.

Most of the Advaita Vedanta concepts are similar to A.M. concepts
but i rather stick with Sarkar philosophy.

90% practice and 10% theory is better than a lot of theory
and unknown quantity of practice and unknown way of practice.
There are countless groups teaching yoga.
If i would have to compare each and everyone to see which one
is the best it would take me more than a life time.
The time is very precious to waste.
As far as my guru teaching give me so much and more i don't
see the need to look elsewhere. Smile

Probably because don't recall seeing your question; or if I did I probably didn't understand the word salad. However, I'll give it a shot.

First of all, who said I'm not prepared to show any interest in this (or any) god? All I've ever asked for is evidence that there's a god there. It's like a detective trail - show me the clues that point to this god and I will happily investigate and follow the evidence wherever it leads. On the other hand, should the evidence point in a different direction to the one you're claiming, or points in several directions at once so that the trail becomes ambiguous, I can hardly be blamed for coming to a different conclusion than you, can I? You'd need to make a better case.

As long as I have breath in my body and strength in my limbs, I will never even entertain the thought of getting you off. Now I'm the one with mental torture.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's exactly the image I had in mind, but couldn't think what to Google for. Thanks, my minion - you have served your master well this day!
