Ok I admit it

There is no point in proving something for which there is evidence, because the proof of it is self evident. We only need to prove what we don't know. Nor what we do know. It depends what you call evidence. You've jumped the gun, in fact I think you swallowed the bullet already. All we have discussed so far is purpose being the reason to consider God. You can address the subject if you wish. Currently your playing in an extra terrestrial stadium. RE: Ok I admit it

I am most impressed with you Fr0d0. Well done on standing your ground. Perhaps we could have a cup of chamomile tea later? My place, of course.

Dammit, fr0d0 gets all the chicks.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

You mean that there is one God and his name is Allah? These are all self-evident too, to the people who believe them, that is. I'm sure you haven't even entertained these notions for one second, that you're possibly missing out on the "truths" and "hope" they have to share. So why should we care about your egocentric experience of God anymore than the UFO abductee who has nothing more to offer but incredible personal testimony and very little rational/critical thought in anything he says? I'd like to know so I can test your "experiential evidence."

Assuming she is as she portrays on the forum, he can have her, no complaints here.
