Slowing down the wind (a finite resource)
March 8, 2014 at 4:48 am
Someone sent me this.
I thought no. Can't be right. So I did snopes. It IS a misquote, but not by much.
Quote: "Wind is God's way of balancing heat. Wind is the way you shift heat from areas where it's hotter to areas where it's cooler. That's what wind is. Wouldn't it be ironic if in the interest of global warming we mandated massive switches to energy, which is a finite resource, which slows the winds down, which causes the temperature to go up? Now, I'm not saying that's going to happen, Mr. Chairman, but that is definitely something on the massive scale. I mean, it does make some sense. You stop something, you can't transfer that heat, and the heat goes up. It's just something to think about."
So there you go. Stop building wind turbines, you might slow down the wind.
I... I... I don't even...
Fucking WHAT?! People voted for this guy?!

I thought it was getting warmer around here. And come to think of it, I'm felling a little short of breath.
THEY STOLE MY AIR!!!

If America gets much worse we're going to have to think seriously about repossession. I'm all for letting the kids make their own mistakes, but.... Damn!

Wind energy is simply a bad idea. No technology is perfect. What happens when a wind farm fails and there is a massive wind-spill? No one ever thinks about that. Try for a moment to picture it - the landscape for miles around devastated by gentle breezes; innocent (and probably endangered) animals getting their fur/feathers slightly ruffled; ripples on ponds.
Oh, sure, some people will say, 'But the wind-power companies will take care of the clean-up.' Please. The hugely powerful wind lobbies will fight tooth and nail to avoid responsibility for the gigantic environmental damage caused when wind gets away from the processing facility.
When a slight zephyr caused by the shoddy practices of the wind-magnates causes a speck of dust to land in your eye and cause you a moment's discomfort, just remember - I warned you.

It could never happen surely. They have safeguards for that sort of thing.
Unless...
Wasn't wind involved in the whole "polar vortex" thing this year? Could that have been caused by a wind spill which the government covered up to protect the powerful wind lobby?
I mean they are basically giant fans. What if someone threw the switch the wrong way, onto "blow" and diverted the jetstream?
Thanks obama

Don't downplay his condition, this man should be relieved of office and taken to an institution where he can receive the help he needs.

I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that thus guy, THIS guy, governs and represents actual, intelligent people!
It's like putting homer Simpson in charge of MIT.

Knew the right people, ran at the right time.
Also;
Have you ever dated a girl, and you didn't know she was bat-shit crazy until way later on? Yeah, some politicians are like ex-girlfriends, they're good at hiding their crazy.
