Are you actually serious or are you yanking my chain?

Looks like we don't need to preform a test. Somebody at MIT already did one. Wind turbines cause temperature increases on land and decreases when they are a sea.

Quote:In a paper published online Feb. 22 in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, Wang and Prinn suggest that using wind turbines to meet 10 percent of global energy demand in 2100 could cause temperatures to rise by one degree Celsius in the regions on land where the wind farms are installed, including a smaller increase in areas beyond those regions. Their analysis indicates the opposite result for wind turbines installed in water: a drop in temperatures by one degree Celsius over those regions.

I think you should concede now that you are the fucking moron.

If governments were to put huge fleets of sailing ships out in the ocean they could reduce the severity of hurricanes. The ships' sails will slow down the winds. Thinking

You might be on the right track.

Will most likely be destroyed by said hurricanes, before taming any... Tongue
That's one of the reasons why off shore wave power generators are not being considered as a serious contender in the alternative energy ring.
