I must say, I think this one will forever remain a classic:
He who loves God cannot endeavour that God should love him in return - Baruch Spinoza

Remember when Christians felt threatened by Harry Potter? Gotta love the irony on the book's cover: "Harmless Fantasy or Dangerous Fascination?" Hmm...what else could that apply to...

The one with the three bears.
Um does The lion the witch and the wardrobe count?
I'll take your question er seriously and go with:
Mere Christianity by CS Lewis and The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis I've read both during my Christian days but CS Lewis is such a brilliant writer that even if you think it's all bunk, they are good reads. Highly recommend for those here who are Christian.
If it's a serious question, the Narnia Chronicles
If it's a joke:
If it's a joke, I will go with the Catechism of the Catholic Church lol
A book of "moral" rules compiled by a group of celibate horny misogynists. (seriously)
Regarding the author of "Shaping Your Child's Sexual Identity":
From Wikipedia: In May 2010 Rekers employed a male prostitute as a travel companion for a two-week vacation in Europe.[8][9][10] Rekers denied any inappropriate conduct and suggestions that he was gay. The male escort told CNN he had given Rekers "sexual massages" while traveling together in Europe.[11][12] Rekers subsequently resigned from the board of NARTH.[12][13] There's nothing I like more than a self-loathing, born-again closet case!
That's actually a sad story, when you think about it. :/ Sad the guy felt that he couldn't live freely as he wished.
