The rationale is that, since the abortion and anal probe sections are nominally controlled by the player, their impact is so much more enhanced than if those scenes had just been watched in an episode. I'm not saying it makes sense, since these sections take a maximum of three button presses to complete, and that's the same number I'd have to use on my remote if I popped in one of my South Park DVDs and navigated over to watch one of the many episodes with anal probing in it, but... that's the excuse they're using.
