Do you take antidepressants?

Wow, prescriptions are more expensive in England than I thought. It's about seven bucks for my two prescriptions - if I had just one, it would be a little over three bucks.
Hell to the fucking NO.

Or move to Finland, where most prescription medicines are subsidised 35%, some special ones (e.g. insulin and some asthma medication) are covered 65% and if you have to pay during one calendar year over 610€ for all your prescription medications, you only pay a 3€/1.5€ self risk for the rest of the year. Who said paying a lot of taxes is a bad thing..? :p When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I'm still under my mother's insurance, which is the saving grace of her job I swear to fucking god. I have the state's insurance as well since I am on SSI. TWO INSURANCES! And for the record, I take zoloft. The flat-affect side effect of anti-psychotics is counteracted by it; my emotions are perfect now!
I was on Zoloft for about 4 weeks and I said fuck that. I couldn't have orgasms, I was always tired, I could barely eat, and I was more fucking depressed.
That's a shame, NG. Everyone responds differently to meds though. Zoloft never makes me tired and I have WAY more of a sex drive after taking it as opposed to before. Eating is just as enjoyable as always too. But obviously, just because it works for me does not mean it will work for everyone.

I just try to keep myself in check and I have an amazing support system with my partner. If I didn't have him I wouldn't be here now.
If I'm feeling down he'll bring me home some sushi or hug me and rub my back till I fall asleep. I love this man. Also, wine. I drink lots of wine.
You keep doing what you feel is right I'm glad you have someone as well.
