Media Bias for Islam

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful" - Edward Gibbon (Offen misattributed to Lucius Annaeus Seneca or Seneca the Younger) (Thanks to apophenia for the correction)
'I am driven by two main philosophies:
Know more about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you' - Neil deGrasse Tyson
"Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." - Mark Twain

When 9/11 first happened the news media was against Islam entirely and like questioning the religion and laying hints towards it being violent. Now that people are more into freedom of speech the news media now makes it seem racist to say anything negative against Islam. The news media just kisses asses and sucks corn-holes. What can you expect. I clearly recall years ago when CBS news made it look as if Islam was a new military front now they speak of dislike towards Islam as a "violent against human rights" as Al Sharpton likes to put it,
