What the bloody fuck? The lunacy of the American right is mind-bending. Then again, I shouldn't be a bit surprised. Not so long ago in this country, southern conservatives made much the same argument regarding segregation. It wasn't really about keeping those pesky niggers in their place (nudge, nudge, wink, wink); it was about state's rights. Assholes!
And Beck is just beyond the pale. At least his fictional precursor, Howard Beale, had the decency to die at the end of Network. Beck seems to have the staying power of a cockroach. Fuck, I hate him!
