I picked 2 because it was the closest to the correct answer, really I should have picked 'other' since I'm an anti-theist as well. I don't have any beliefs in any gods or supernatural beings and I'm of the opinion that such unfounded beliefs are fucking corrosive to progress and conducive to violence. Modern religion, in my opinion, needs to either pony up the evidence or go the way of ancient mythology and be a concept we like to study and laugh about.

This is a terribly worded poll. The inclusion of the word "doctrine" really kills the first option. And "disbelief" makes me think you're talking about actively disbelieving, rather than just lack of belief, which are two different things, but I think you intended that as the lack of belief option.

Well, it's possible that some people may have personally witnessed evidence for God, but we can't verify that evidence for ourselves, and it's more likely that those people are lying or delusional.
There is however evidence for Wadjet. Catholics beware, the evidence for Egyptian religion is mounting! If you fail to find joy in this life, you will not be allowed to enter paradise!

I believe that God doesn't exist because the old testament is too bizarre, violent, and ignorant to be divinely inspired.

There are stories that are similar to the Jesus story, and I don't feel like worshiping all the other mythological people that were born of virgins or resurrected after dying, and all that. Also it's not like Judaism is the only religion with a creation story. I need some concrete evidence before I know which creator god that had a son who was born of a virgin I'm supposed to worship.
