How many different words are there in arabic to describe "sea"? And "land"?
Just in english, you have "land, earth, ground, dirt, continent", "sea, lake, ocean"...
If we handpick one particular word in arabic, what is our justification to pick one over another very similar word?

The arabic I provided was al-Qamar(القمر) i.e. 'the moon'

You have a point pocaracas, maybe they search the root word. In Arabic there is always a root word. I actually don't know the criteria of this. Its just some meaningless meaningful patterns :p

So the options are:

1. It is a coincidence.
2. Humans put the pattern in.
3. Rather than reveal himself, God put some patterns into the Koran to demonstrate his existence to those that don't understand the argument from ignorance.

I'm going with 1 or 2. Normally with this stuff it's almost always 1, but having briefly looked at it it could also be 2.

Or most likely, the data have been cooked to make it come out this way.
