Because the precedent was set by Bush - whom I suspect you think was just fine when he started wars for nothing but get real upset with Obama when he does anything.
Call it a hunch.

Can you imagine how conservative hypocrites would react if Obama had signed the Patriot Act?
Obama definitely deserves to be scrutinized for all his failures, but if you sat silently during the Bush era, you have no right to open your mouth now.

Well I won't comment on Bush starting wars, that is just your attempt at changing the subject with a red herring. As far as Bush setting the precedent, these are two different situations. Obama signed an order authorizing the targeting and killing of an American citizen. To our knowledge Bush did not sign such an order. Derwish was killed in an attack targeting other terrorists. Now if it is shown that Bush did indeed order Derwish's killing then Bush needs to be investigated. The left glosses over Obama's failure just as the right glossed over Bush's. The opposition serves a purpose. Even if they are wrong they are a check at least. I've actually been quite fascinated watching that happen. It's amazing to see how selective viewing is bi-partisan. Me, I don't trust any politician on the national scale. You pretty much have to sell your morals to make it at that level.
