The scientific data tell a story that overcomes my skepticism with both its quantity and the opinions of the people best able to correctly interpret that data. I know what I wish was true, but it's not what the science says is that the climate is changing and that we are a large part of the reason why. We need to stop looking for excuses to do nothing, or even make it worse.

Yes the Earth's climate has changed before. Yes the Earth's climate will probably change again with or without human interference. That does not mean humans can not affect the Earth's climate. Nor does it mean the current changes are not anthropic in origin.
If you want to educate yourself about the evidence for anthropic climate change and the likely consequences, the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report would be a good place to start.
Anthropic......you think the climate is changing because of us, or do you think we are accelerating change that was already occurring?
If a 4 tonne boulder is rolling down a cliff face at you, I can't see that it matters whether a recent rainstorm weakened the supporting soil or someone pushed the boulder. In either case, you kind of want to get the fuck out of the way, don't you?

Well lets see,
Thirty or so years ago, it was the impending ice age that was going to doom everyone.
Then, the theme was flipped to global warming.
When people realized that was a lie, it became Climate Change.
Govt. money flowing to certain scientists (Mistresses of sorts) enabled the new twist to get traction.
The reason for all the lies it to bring the United States down.
To merge it into the planned new order.
I believe NOTHING this regime concocts upon us.
We don't see the great and mighty O curtailing any of his myriad, fully loaded 747s, complete w his limo (the Beast) and piles of his friends aboard, on trips all over the world (and of course Hawaii) do we?
Or the other big time scam maker Gore downsizing by, dumping his gigantic mansion.
There is no global anything- only Global lying.
