Fundamentalists Walk of Shame

Today's Featured Presentation: Gregg Jarrett, FOX "news"
This guy was already a piece of work...
But now look at the famously self proclaimed "mature" FOX news anchor Gregg Jarrett, getting face palmed into a bench!
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A police video shows Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett struggling with an officer at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in May.
The airport police department recently released the video to Gawker.com… watch it here!
The video shows him in a holding cell May 21 after he appeared intoxicated at an airport restaurant.
In the video, Jarrett curses as medical personal evaluate him. A police officer steps in to intervene and indicates that Jarrett has put his hands on him. The officer then pushes him up against a wall, forcing him onto his knees with his face pressed against a bench. The officer orders Jarrett to quit resisting and cuffs his hands behind his back.
Jarrett is charged with interfering with a peace officer.
The police report says Jarrett had just been released from a treatment facility. A prescription drug was found in his pocket.
Jarrett's attorney and a Fox News spokeswoman did not return messages seeking comment Wednesday morning.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Not sure, but I'm sure his anchor career is "ruined".
....
Unless they "forgive" him.

I heard there was actually a study that showed people who watch Fox News exclusively are LESS informed than people who watch no news.

That's because FOX is the opposite of news. It's a point of view. That point of view is: Ignorance.

Faux News is shit. However, the police lied about their reasoning for their scuffle with Jarrett. I saw the video, and he did not struggle or do anything threatening to the cops.

Unfortunately the police don't always need a good reason for what they do. There was a story I heard once where police beat a man to death for not giving them his ID. His wife hit their daughter, and nearby police walked up to see what was going on. They asked for his ID, he refused and said this was family business, and they got in his face and beat him to death.

When he stood up, it could have been considered a threat, but I don't think their response was proportional at all. Sometimes cops have an over-inflated sense of control and power.
I am a little biased, though. I'm terrified of cops because I was beaten by (a huge) one when I got arrested once. In my case, the cop got fired and my charges were thrown out, but the outcome did nothing to ease my fear of being severely beaten. I wish I could dig up some pictures, but that was ten years ago.
