Not my own version, "God" is meant to be taken literally, but really God is only symbolic. If you dig into the Baha'i details you will see that it states that "God is unknowable for ever" and the only way we can know God is "through the Manifestation". This is basically saying that God doesn't ever exist so that's why Baha'is turn to Bahaullah.
