(kitty has gone from 27 to 18 pounds in a couple of years)

(until his attitude deteriorated about it, I felt sorry for him, but not any more)

Kitty was 27 pounds going on 40. He was only 3 years old at the time, and the vet was certain he was heading towards arthritis, diabetes and hygiene issues.

Wish I had started the cat on the program at around 15 pounds, it would have worked out way better than having him get so big and then having to pare him down.

I like fat kitties too, we had a 24 pounder back in the 80s, and he was a blast. 27 was a new household record, and he did it at a much younger age than the 24 pounder did.
