I wouldn't bother wasting your time on alpha male, you can rationally and logically back him into a corner, and the best argument he could come up with is that he 'takes it all on faith'.

Its silly debating a concept they've created which is by definition "beyond human knowledge and comprehension" yet proceed to make a million or so claims about its character (or lack thereof).
