People who despite being completely drunk, still want to drive. I have never wanted to drive drunk. No matter how wasted I have been, I have never thought it was a good idea to drive. Hell, when i'm drunk, I don't even want to walk anywhere, let alone drive.

When you walk into a room and forget what you went in for. I just did that and still can't remember what I went in there to do. Maybe its the Silence....

People who make Doctor Who references without pulling out their sonic screwdrivers. ^_^
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Institutionalized incompetence grinds them even more.
A few months back, I wrote a letter to a ISP I had for 2 weeks and who, for the whole 2 week period, never got the service straight and so I got out. Now, they want to charge me for the 2 year loyalty period, because they claim they upheld their part of the contract. BS!
OK, so when I got their letter about having to pay for the loyalty period, I wrote them a letter back, stating very well and in the very first sentence that the people working there are incompetents. I then explained the whole situation and signaled their incompetence where appropriate.
A few weeks later, I got a standard letter from them saying they had revised the case and found that I had to pay.
I wrote a new letter back at them, this time, lawyer style, pointing out all the laws that had been observed and which had been trudged over by them. In the end, I threatened to go to court, if they keep insisting that I owe them anything.
A few weeks later, they replied with exactly the same letter I had received before my last one.
So, the long arm of the law starts stretching... I filed a complaint with the national communications regulator. I haven't heard anything back from these guys.... and it's now been a month... this stuff works slowly in Portugal.
But the ISP, a few days ago, sent me a text (SMS!!!) saying I have to pay or we go to court over it!! I LOLed!
Let's go to court, dumbasses!
First step: ISP must present the contract I signed - I signed nothing! It was a contract over the phone, properly regulated by law, so they have to provide the recording of that... They only keep recording for the mandatory 90 days, so I guess it's gone, by now... Also, the call came from another company, which, by then, was already a part of this ISP, but still operating under a different name and a lot of confusion reigned over the merger... my guess is they don't have the recording. No recording, no contract, no court case.
Second step - Oh shit, we (ISP) never fulfilled the contract. Hush, threaten the client with court until he pays.... there's a chance he'll pay...
Third step - Me laughing my ass off! and not paying anything to those money grubbing idiot incompetents.
Now, should I put them in court for demanding money from me, when they (let's assume) know they have no right for it?
If anyone here remembers this, it has come to fruition.
While I was in the UK, I got a letter from the ISP's lawyers claiming I owed them money and that, if I didn't pay, they'd proceed to court.
This time, they gave me an e-mail to where I could reply.... so I did. Instead of explaining why I don't owe them anything, like I had done 3 times by letter, I said I'd pay them if they could prove to me that I owed them that money. Since the limit to pay that they had given me on the letter had passed well before I got back to Portugal, I assumed they were gathering all necessary evidence to present in court, so I asked them to present that to me... I even made a list of what they should provide, just to make their jobs a little easier.
Just a few minutes ago, I got a reply to that email, saying that they'll send me a credit note for the value I "owed" and that the invoice which I never paid is annulled.
I read that as them admitting incompetence of their own people.

The latest Doctor who episode, it was fucking awful, it was even worse than that one where they took the kids to that space amusement park with the cyber men.
Firstly, the actors were all terrible, apart from Ben Miller, but even he wasn't up to his usual standard because the writers were so bad. I know its a ridiculous sci-fi show but the characters weren't believable at all.
And the physics in the show, what the fuck?!?! The writers just went: Fuck it, lets have the Doctor having a sword fight with Robin Hood, but lets give the doctor a spoon. What the actual fuck?!!? You cannot parry a fucking sword with a spoon. You just can't. I realise that physics in this show has to be flexible but just no.... You can get away with it when they're doing black holes or time space vortex's, you know, stuff we don't actually know for sure. But basic physics! You have to get that right.
And another awful part, at the end they fire an arrow made of solid gold, from a standard long bow, into a launching space ship that was at least 300 metres away and 100 metres above the ground. What the fuck has happened to the writers? A solid gold arrow would weigh far too much to even attempt to fire it from a bow. It wouldn't fly straight, it would drop to the ground after a few feet. Again, basic physics!
And they had this terrible thing where the doctor and robin have this rivalry going on and are constantly challenging each other. They try to make it funny but it just isn't at all. And what's worse is they're trying to make Capaldi a kind of fun, joking around doctor like matt smith. And he just can't pull it off, he looks like a grumpy old man, and I think it would suit him better if he played the character like one.
I remember when this show used to mean something. When I look back at the Christopher Eccelston and David Tennant episodes, they had meaning and emotion and funny parts and sad parts, but this series it has none of that. Even Matt Smith's Doctor (who was much less serious than the others) had parts that made you feel. Remember the Van Gogh episode, where he takes him into the gallery and gets Bill Nighy to describe how good he was. And then there was Amy and Rory and how they left, the whole weeping angels thing.
The only thing that made me feel in these 3 new episodes was when Matt Smiths doctor called from the past in Trenselor.
If you can't tell, I am incredibly saddened and pissed off by how bad this series has been. I'm giving Capaldi the benefit of the doubt because I didn't like any of the doctors to start with but I grew to love them. It's definitely the writers faults.

People who steal shopping carts from grocery stores because they are too fucking lazy to carry their bags and then leave them in the ditch near their apartment.
And, then, next time when they need groceries, they don't even bother to return them, they just take another one, fucking jerk-offs
