IIRC, Krispy Kreme had the same thing happen when they expanded from the south. People lost their friggin' minds over KK. I don't hate them, but I prefer my local supermarket, tbdh.

Mmm donuts. Donuts always remind me that I'm American. Other countries just don't do donuts like we do. Also...you can eat like 5 donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast here and no one will bat an eye. Heart

I don't mind that Americans are fat. I might love to drool over Milk Chocolate (aka Steel Curtain), but I want to sit near fat people when I'm eating donuts.

I don't know what a cronut is, but I saw these creme filled ramen donuts on Facebook :vomit:

Pretty much the same in Europe. Makes life easy for the beer guzzling lazy fat couch potato.

Also the person who might find going out in public, especially in crowds, very daunting at times due to panic attacks and depressive episodes or other similar mental/emotional issues. I get that what you're saying had humorous intent but please try not to generalise.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

It was meant as a kind of self portrait.
