I've known a wide variety of clergy in my life and while it is true that the majority of them tend towards a rather severe dickishness, there are a few that seem to go about doing 'good works' without the proselytizing that normally comes with the profession.

So...no, not ALL preachers are dicks.

Anyways, I don't think all preachers are dicks. I've known some who are very kind.
Some people are dicks and some aren't, some people are only dicks sometimes while other times they are not.

If they were not judgmental, then they would engage in conversation instead of preach. Preaching is an act that is intrinsically judgment, irrespective of what gloss the preacher puts on it in an effort to avoid the taint normally associated with preachers.

To clarify my OP.
I meant, do preachers literally represent the reproductive organs of religion.
I think they do.
They may or may not also be jerks, that being another definition of the slang term 'dick.' Some dicks are very pleasant and useful.
