Atheism...where do you fit in?

RE: Atheism...where do you fit in?
None of those choices offered describe my position.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

RE: Atheism...where do you fit in?
IMO the following scale represents the best possible options:

1 - Gnostic theist - Someone who is either 100% certain or is at least considerably certain god exists. Someone who claims knowledge on god and thinks there definitely is a god. 'God exists!'. Ranging from 90% to 100% certainty on god existing

2 - Agnostic theist - Someone who doesn't claim knowledge on god but believes there is one. The belief may be higher or lower, from 51% to 89%. Some agnostic theists will be very convinced there has to be a god, others will be just slightly inclined

3 - 50/50, total agnostic - I think this position is impossible because society will force you to take a position, the god question and god belief is important to fit into certain groups and integrate into society, so you'll eventually take a stance, negative or positive. It could be possible for some people, very rarely, to be 100% agnostics, but I still have my doubts to it

4 - Agnostic atheist - I don't claim knowledge on god and I don't believe any gods exist. Ranging from 11% to 49% of probability for god existing

5 - Gnostic atheist - My case, check out number 1 and make the analogy. I defend one doesn't have to be 100% certain to claim knowledge, just considerably certain. From 0 ro 10% probability of god existing

Alternative positions:

6 - Religious atheist - An atheist who follows a non theist religion

7 - Spiritual atheist - An atheist who believes in the supernatural in spite of not believing in god.

PS - This is not a copy of Dawkins scale, merely an adaptation I think suits better the different positions.

I don't believe in any god(s). That's it. Nothing else is relevant to atheism.
