Traveling requires money. Money I don't have.

I would looooooove to visit Turkey someday (And Australia, and Ireland again, and Peru, and Brazil, and China, South Africa, and Egypt, and go on an African safari.... Not to mention various parts of the US I've never been to, only was there for a day, or hardly remember.

But I got no money.

Well on the west coast there are several of us. Min and Ivy aren't too far away and nor is GBD. I'll give the board a heads up when we do our annual garden/studio party. But beyond that, anyone passing through the San Francisco bay area is welcome to stop by or meet somewhere. I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing Rebecca before too long. With school starting up I won't be as free as I am in the summer but there is always the odd free hour or two.

My oldest, bestest friend is in San Mateo for the time being. I'll be visiting him, more than likely, in the next few months.

Possibly going up to North Fork for a music festival next weekend... if the sciatica from the long road trip clears up. Seriously, a few days without yoga and sitting in a car, and I'm old. Fuuuuuuck.

Anyone want to join?

Actually, travelling might be more of an option now than it was. I don't really have to worry about money (as long as I don't go mad with it); plus I'm about to start driving lessons, so I won't be limited as to distance. With a pisspot passport, the world would be the crustacean of my choice.

I've been talking about visiting the states for a while now with Shell. Hopefully in the not too distant, we might just do that.

Typical; just when I get my shiny new smartphone with Skype and lots of other lovely bells and whistles.

I have skype....Angel

My friends from TTA and I used to get together in group skype calls once or twice a week. It was a lot of fun. I would love to do that with you guys.

Actually meeting in person....I hope to get there one day. I am a big chicken though and I just don't know yet...

I hope we can make it happen. I'd love to see you blush without emoticons. Wink
